Texting has created a whole new language. BRB, BTW, LOL, LMAO, and tons of other abbreviations were unheard of just a few years ago.I was even stomped recently with IMO. For those who don't know that's the cool text abbreviation for in my opinion.
My oldest son would rather text than talk...unbelievable! But what's even more astonishing is the rate of speed these texting exchanges take to occur.
Have you seen those little text demons at work? A whole texting conversation can take place in a matter of seconds. And most of these guys don't have the convenience of the QWERTY keyboard.
I have a girlfriend who apparently likes texting as much as her teenage kids.
She will text me endlessly with lengthy bits of information about any and everything.
After my futile attempt to keep up with her barrage of texts, I say screw it. And politely dial her number for a normal conversation!
