Tools to Check Google Page Rank

Google recently went through one of their long awaited page rank updates. Congratulations to all who noticed an increase in their green google power! I was pleasantly pleased with my "impressive" climb up the Google ladder. I went from not being recognized by Google at all to a page rank of "0"!

Now many of you might think it's ridiculous to celebrate a "0" but in the world of SEO, a zero as opposed to nothing at all is extremely meaningful. I'm sure my increase would have been more significant had I not changed my domain name mid-stream. Perhaps when Google updates again I'll have a bit of green juice of my own.

A couple of the tools I use to check my page rank status from time to time are...

Google Page Rank Checker to instantly know your homepage page rank.
Web Diagnostic Tool to check individual page rank of your site's internal pages. This takes a bit more time depending on the number of pages within your site.

Google page rank really has no significant bearing on Search traffic. Still, it's a pretty good metric for determining the popularity of a site or blog.
