Success Made Easy in Blogging

My blog is about 2 months old. Although I’ve blogged before with a tiny level of success, it’s truly like starting over again. Many of the rules have changed but I’d have to say they’ve changed for the better.

Back in early 2004 and 2005 I launched my first blog and had no clue what I was doing. I wasn't that knowledgeable of html code, search engine optimization, directories or anything related to promoting a blog.

At best, exchanging links was about as far as it went.

These days there's a plethora of techniques that can be utilized to promote your blog.

The social networking aspect is great. I’m not just talking about Twitter, Digg, Stumbleupon and others like them. Blogging communities like MyBlogLog and BlogCatalog are excellent avenues for getting your blog exposed to people who might never have found you otherwise.

Another great feature is SEO optimized blog templates and platforms. The Wordpress blogging platform has some of the BEST publishing tools designed with search engine optimization in mind.


Creativity breeds creativity.

With the number of new bloggers increasing every day newbie bloggers and blogging veterans are able to get their creative juices flowing. Bloggers have a wide array of  styles, colors, widgets and other cosmetic enhancements to get ideas about.

Research the available resources out there and get a head start on the road to success.
