Choosing a Blogging Platform

Haven't started blogging yet but seriously giving it some thought? Make sure you research the different types of blogging platforms available. Blogger, Wordpress & Typepad are the three most popular. However, there are others that might be ideal for a new blogger just getting his feet wet.

1) Tumblr: Tumblr is pretty effortless. You can customize everything, from colors, to your theme’s HTML.

2) posterous: Posterous is email blogging at it's best. It's one of the the simplest blogging platforms. It launched in 2008 and has seen some pretty significant increase in usage The platform was created by Sachin Agarwal & Garry Tan.
Posterous - The place to post everything. Just email us. Dead simple blog by email.
2) Squarespace: Squarespace is almost completely WYSIWYG (What you see is what you get), in it’s design, interface, and structure. You can drag and drop items from one place to the other with relative ease. You can change your design with just a few clicks. You can even add posts or pages without navigating through a huge administration panel or post editor.
